Shepherd Pie

2 pounds ground beef

2 cans condensed tomato soup

2 – 15 oz cans corn

Instant mashed potatoes

Other ingredients to make the mashed potatoes per the box recipe

 

            Brown the ground beef in a skillet or covered microwave dish.  Pour off excess fat.  In 9”x13” glass casserole dish mix the ground beef with the condensed tomato soup.  Spread evenly over the bottom of the casserole dish.  Prepare 8 servings of mashed potatoes and put an even trim of mashed potatoes around the edge of the casserole dish on top of the meat mixture.

            Drain the cans of corn and put corn on top of the meat mixture within the perimeter formed by the mashed potatoes.

            Warm further in the microwave or conventional oven until the desired temperature is reached.
