This 1938 picture looking to the northwest shows the intersection of what is now Rt. 24 and Rt. 251.  The canning factory (later the Pfister Hybrid Corn Company plant) and the Knecht garage are shown in the upper portion.  The concrete slab was where Kammerer Concrete Company was located.
